The foot switch works with Windows 10, 8, 7,2000/XP/Vista as well as Linux/ Dos and Mac computers.
The software used to initially assign functions to the foot switch does require a PC to run. However, once you have programmed the pedal, the software is not required for the foot switch to work. (Just keep the software in case you want to reassign the functions of the pedal.)
